About the golden silver
Silver is naturally silver in color, and gold plating is simply a coating over the metal, which is why the color fades over time. In the case of rings, bracelets, and shorter necklaces, durability may be considerably lower due to greater contact with the skin, with each person's pH and perspiration levels being relevant factors. For the gold plating on our jewelry to last much longer, we use a gold plating with more microns (gold vermeil). This gold plating consists of a 3-micron layer of gold deposited onto the silver piece, making it stronger and more resistant to oxidation when compared to flash gold plating of 0.5 to 1 micron.
