About the golden silver
Silver is silver-colored in its origin, while the gold tone is merely a plating over the metal, which is why the color fades over time. In the case of rings, bracelets, and shorter necklaces, the durability may be considerably lower due to greater contact with the skin, with each person's pH and level of perspiration being relevant factors. For the gold finish of the jewelry to last much longer, we use a gold plating with more microns (gold vermeil). This gold plating consists of a 3-micron layer of gold deposited on the silver piece, making it stronger and more resistant to oxidation when compared to flash gold plating of 0.5 to 1 micron.
