About the golden silver
Silver is naturally silver in color, and gold plating is simply a coating over the metal, which is why the color fades over time. In the case of rings, bracelets, and shorter necklaces, the durability may be considerably lower due to increased skin contact, with each person's pH level and perspiration rate being relevant factors. To ensure the gold finish on our jewelry lasts much longer, we use gold plating with more microns (gold vermeil). This gold plating consists of a 3-micron layer of gold deposited onto the silver piece, making it stronger and more resistant to oxidation compared to flash gold plating of 0.5 to 1 micron.
